Which is the best region to start with in Far Cry 5? I started with John as most do but partially through his questline I switched to Faiths region and after Im done with her im doing Jacob and then im gonna go back and finish off John.

Far Cry 5 has 16 Shrine Locations exclusive to Faith’s Region and 2 on Dutch’s Island. They are needed for the False Idols side mission and earn you Resistance Points towards your story progress in Faith’s Region and Dutch’s Region.
I believe the canon sequence is John > Jacob > Faith (Jacobs area has minor foreshadowing regarding Faith. Faith also requires most resistance points). That said, Faith>Jacob>John is a bit more logical, but also harder to pull of and sports some sequence breaks. #13.
Dutch's Island. In the starting zone of Dutch's Island, players only need to locate one Prepper Stash.
