2.0PD TDi 103kW BMM/BKD no problem 1,000,000km BKD after head replacement due first generation poor design my DPF is most likely dead since it tries to regenerate for 400km for example. fuel consumption increased. I'm thinking as I may have some extra cash in the next few months, and my turbo is in need of a strip down and clean etc etc due to sticky vanes, that I might get a whole new one from Darkside or Turbo Technics. I haven't found any threads on how to or guides on how to remove and replace it.

Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013) Hard to start the engine when hot. (BKD engine) If the engine temperature reach 90 degrees is difficult to start it again. This is happening just at 90 degrees. If the coolant has less then 90, the engine starts fine. Also the "magic eye" on the car battery is black.

My dealer says the two engines are totally different, but a performance place I'm in contact with tells me that in fact the only difference is that the AZV has been restricted electronically, and that the engines are the same mechanically. 0rp2R.
