Turnkey to ON position (ignition off) Press accelerator pedal all the way to the floor (including the kick down switch) and hold for 10 seconds. While still pressing down on the pedal, turn key to OFF position (do not remove) Let off accelerator about 5 seconds after turning key to OFF.
Re Idle speed adjustment on a4 b7? You can use the your chip vendor's software to modify the adaptation channel 01 and raise the idle speed in 10 RPM increments. I have APR Stage 2+ but APRs V-tune software doesn't work on 2.0Ts, just 1.8Ts. Does the 2.0T have adaptation channels??? First loosen the 5/8ths bolt (but don’t remove it yet, it keeps the ball joint from spinning) and then remove the 13mm bolt from the top. Now remove the other bolt and move the end link out of the way. Next, remove the three 14mm bolts that hold the upper strut mount in. These are found in the engine compartment. 0wTB.
