Today was the last time it happened but luckily I had a small 12v battery in my hatch from my motorcycle and a pair of jumper cables.One of mine has a 35 series in it (nonstock lower battery tray) and the other a 75 side post, and the last has a Tempo battery (58? terminals reversed) in it. Among 500 other uses a piece of aluminum strip 1/8" thick and 3/4"-1" wide cut to maybe 4" long can often be used as a spacer to insert under the battery plastic sidemount block to extend Hi all. Newbie here. Have a 2004 Mk1 Focus 1.6 petrol and noticed an issue the other day. There was a lot of blue/white coloured stuff (purple in places) over the positive battery terminal area. I cleaned it up and noticed that it has pretty much dissolved some bits of the battery cable, the clam Ford Focus Zetec 1.6 Petrol - Replacement battery - Ford Focus Zetec 1.6 Petrol - Galaxy : Well, it says 6G9N-10655-LA - 12V - 65RC on the label on the Ford battery on my Mondeo, but it also says 43 AH 390A which are the Ampere/Hour and Cranking Current ratings.
