The facelift for the last naturally aspirated V8 BMW M3 was introduced in 2010 and it had to pay the price for the eco-trend but in an M3 way. It was more eco-friendly, but powerful as before.

I like Facelift much more. The tail lights and headlights are great. I always thought the interior door cards on pre-facelift were terribly ugly and seemed like they were designed more for style than comfort.
The back looks like it got squished between two fat people. The E90 M3 is the exception as it got an E92 style front end. E92 - LCI has a nicer rear, pre-facelift has better wing-mirrors. Front end not a lot in it, LCI has the better lights. Overall not a massive change between the two.
2016 BMW 340i M Sport [0.00] I got the Adaptive LCI LED headlights which I think look best on an F30; the regular LCI LED headlights do lose their style/shape and a lot of LCI F30s have it (which is what you're seeing and linked above). I find the angel eyes on pre-LCI headlights too small, but that's just me.
A local dealer has a 2012 Pre LCI and 2016 LCI in stock 40,000 miles vs 20,000 miles and £20k vs £30k. My questions are: 1). What is the difference in spec between the two. Is it just a cosmetic facelift or are there mechanical differences? I see the LCI gets a digital dash, what else was there? 2).
