hada simlar problem with my 1.6 fsi. i was advised to just ignore it, the rattle is worse when the oil is cold i.e on cold mornings. however it will not damage your engine so i wouldnt bother spending too much on it unless you find a cheap way of replacing the tensioner, just live with it!! A3 2020. The AudiA3 1 0 tfsi engine problems are faulty oxygen sensor and excessive oil use. The coolant needs to be changed every 60,000 miles or so.
